CBSE Result: The board indicated while implementing the two-term test pattern for CBSE Class 10th and 12th students that term 1 results will not be issued as pass/fail or essential repeat.
India, New Delhi: As soon as the exams are concluded, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to release the Class 10th and Class 12th results. For the first time this year, the board used OMR sheets for objective type questions on the tests. For a total of 40 points, each question was worth the same amount of points.
The CBSE term 1 question papers comprised case-based MCQs as well as assertion-reasoning MCQs. The test lasted 90 minutes and covered half of the rationalised syllabus.
The board indicated that term 1 results will not be announced as pass or fail or essential repeat when publishing the two-term test pattern for CBSE Class 10th and 12th students. The final CBSE results will be revealed after the term 2 examinations are concluded.
After the results are published, the Class 10, 12 score cards will be available to download from the official websites cbse.gov.in and cbseresults.nic.in. The DigiLocker app and the website digilocker.gov.in are the other official means of checking Class 10 and Class 12 results, in addition to the CBSE websites. As was the case last year, the results may also be available via the UMANG app and SMS.
