Lenovo has revealed that to kick off the new year, it would unveil a gaming smartphone on January 1, 2022.
The Legion Y90 is the name of Lenovo’s upcoming gaming smartphone, according to official teasers from the company on Weibo, as noticed by GSM Arena. While the business hasn’t disclosed the complete specifications, it has shared some information regarding the phone’s display on Weibo.
The Lenovo Legion Y90 will include a 6.92-inch E4 AMOLED screen with a 144Hz refresh rate and 720Hz touch sampling rate.
For long-term performance, the smartphone will include a dual-engine air-cooled system, and the display will support HDR content.
The Legion Y90 can play games at 120 frames per second and keep relatively cool even after 20 to 30 minutes of gaming, according to a screenshot uploaded on Weibo by a Lenovo employee.
According to GSMArena, more information on the Lenovo Legion Y90 will be released in the coming days, with the launch still over a week away.
