The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati’s newly constructed School of Business has began academic operations and will shortly admit the first batch of students to its flagship programme, the Master of Business Administration (MBA).
The MBA application process will begin in January 2022, with the first class of students set to start in July 2022. Admission to the MBA programme will follow the same standards as other IITs that offer MBA programmes, with the exception that applicants must have completed the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2021 to be considered.
More information on the programme can be found at iitg.ac.in/sob. The admissions procedure will be divided into two sections. Stage one will consist of the shortlisting of applicants for the personal interview (PI). The ultimate decision will be made using Stage 2, which will be based on the PI as well as a few other variables.
