The umpire warns KL Rahul for Pulling out late in the Second Test

Kagiso Rabada, the South African pacer, was slated to bowl the third delivery of the Indian innings in the fifth over, but had to pull out at the last minute due to Rahul’s withdrawal.

India’s interim captain, KL Rahul earned a warning from umpire Marais Erasmus on the opening day of the second Test when he belatedly drew out of a Kagiso Rabada delivery.

Kagiso Rabada, the South African pacer, was slated to bowl the third delivery of the Indian innings in the fifth over, but had to pull out at the last minute due to Rahul’s withdrawal. However, he soon apologised for the incident. “Just try and be a little faster please KL,” umpire Erasmus said over the stump mic, to which Rahul swiftly answered, “Sorry.”

Meanwhile, Duanne Olivier dismissed out-of-form batsmen Cheteshwar Pujara and Ajinkya Rahane off successive deliveries, leaving India at 53 for 3 at lunch.
