Today’s cryptocurrency prices: Bitcoin, Binance Coin, Solana, and XRP are all down, while Ethereum is up

The overall volume of cryptocurrency trade in the last 24 hours was $121.58 billion, a drop of 40.16 percent. Stablecoins ($94.49 billion) accounted for 77.72 percent of the crypto market’s 24-hour market volume, while DeFi ($17.86 billion) contributed for 14.69 percent of overall crypto volume.

The global crypto market capitalisation has declined 1.07 percent to $2.27 trillion in the previous 24 hours. Bitcoin, which is presently selling at $49,084.94, has increased its market dominance by 0.42 percent in the last day, bringing it to 40.72 percent.

In the last 24 hours, the overall volume of cryptocurrency trade was $121.58 billion, down 40.16 percent. Stablecoins accounted for 77.72 percent of the crypto market’s 24-hour market volume ($94.49 billion), while DeFi ($17.86 billion) contributed for 14.69 percent of overall crypto volume ($17.86 billion).

Bitcoin ($4,141.51) decreased 0.53 percent internationally, while Ethereum ($4,141.51) increased 0.55 percent. Binance Coin has also lost 3.11 percent of its value ($545.71). Solana ($192.74) has dropped 1.55 percent in the last 24 hours, Cardano ($1.37) has dropped 1.85 percent, Avalanche ($83.77) has dropped 7.32 percent, Polkadot ($27.06) has dropped 4.17 percent, and Litecoin ($153.51) has dropped 4.99 percent.

SHIB, a Memecoin, dropped by 0.90 percent, while DOGE dropped by 1.53 percent.

Bitcoin is presently worth Rs 40,54,870.

The government stressed that it does not want to ban cryptocurrencies but rather regulate them as ‘assets,’ putting an end to rumours that they would be prohibited in India. All Indian bitcoin exchanges would be regulated by the Securities and Exchange Board of India, according to reports (SEBI). According to the cabinet memo, citizens would also be forbidden from owning crypto assets on international exchanges or in private wallets.

Bitcoin’s market value, like that of other cryptocurrencies, plummeted on Saturday, indicating that risk aversion is sweeping financial markets. The total crypto sector has lost almost a fifth of its worth, according to tracker CoinGecko, plunging to $2.2 trillion.
